Looks good but why not face both the cone and the port into the cabin... otherwise you're losing a lot of output (assuming the trunk is sealed off).

I thought about that, but if I face it toward the seat, I'll have to bring it back away from the seat a bit so it doesn't hit. Won't I be chambering it in again by doing that? In essence that would be creating a bandpass enclosure wouldn't it?

Great design, love to see it built! :clapping:

Thank you sir! I love what you've done with your build. I've watched it here and there for a while. Nice job!

I actually thought about it, and it's only going to be a temporary set up for now, so I'm going to end up just buying one for when I get this thing built. Might as well. I'll use it here, and I'll use it when and if I ever build my truck too. Worth the money I think! But thanks.

wow.... great skills and italian sound system :drinks:

Thank you sir. I hope I can show off more skills soon. It's driving me nutz not working on it.

Thanks all!

First of all this is. Spotless build. A lot of attention to detail that is awesome to see. On the topic of boxes.. I wanted a forth order aswell and so did my friend so this weekend we took the average size of all the enclosure sizes I was suggested and made two cabinets and put the port on the removable section to access the sub. So we did four different tunings and we sat in my truck for about a hour switching ports and deciding witch me liked better. After that I cut a hole in the boxs and put plexiglas and trim panels over it and we called it good. Point being to all this rambling is that you just gotta try it man. Build a box and go through the tunings. All in all it only took us like 4 hours to build bot cabinets and the ports. Also I always wanted to do drawers like you said but I was worried about them rattling. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, ya I plan on building a few boxes the week after Christmas. I'm supposed to have that week off. Still waiting for final word though. As far as the drawers, the HD slides I'm using seem to be pretty stiff and don't move around much, aside of the sliding it's supposed to do. So I'm not too terribly worried about it. If I get it done, and it does rattle, then I guess I'll have to rebuild right!
