Need sone help for a friend real quick

Recommended Posts

its been a couple of years back, dont remember what kind of truck, but i did one for an old friend that didnt have enough mounting depth. i removed the back seat, installed a piece of unistrut as a spacer for the existing bracket, and remounted. It gave me an extra 1.5" to play with. you can get different thickness though.

Preorder price is $120 each I believe... It should fit and it's in his budget, it's just he will have to wait for them to be released to the public.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Okay if that's the case I say pre order those!!! Well worth the wait IMO that'd be close to the $300 and better than kicker (although I'm not saying those cvr's are bad by any means, especially for like $70 a pop)

Thanks for te quick replies guys. I've een texting him and he said he's been talking to an audio shop in our area and he said he's looking at the p3 shallow mounts which is right at 5.5". Are those any good I tried showing him the site but he said for me to take care of it but he woul prefer to pay cash and buy from the audio shop here. So any input on those?

Alpine type S's or R's if they will fit.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.
