LoudBimmer
Hey guys I just got my new HU, hooked everything up but it doesn't sound too good. I got 2 sa10 with hifonics brz1200.1d. The box is in the trunk of bmw325i which is sealed from inside. the gain is turned uo 3/4 way and rest of the settings i didn't touch. I order to get subs moving i need to turn my HU to 25/35 which makes it really loud inside, but i don't hear lows that well from subs. Also, voltage does not drop below 13.8. here's a quick vids i made. Tonight i'm gonna set it up with AC volt meter. in second video you can't really see steering wheel and doors flex little bit. did i set something wrong or what? Skullz
None of the pressure is getting into the cabin so it is all staying in the trunk, you'll need to find a way to get some of the pressure into the cabin. Do you have fold down seats, if you do then fold them down if not you'll need to find another way. If your trunk is sealed from the cabin, and the subs are firing into the trunk, you will not hear them very much. Now, if they are firing into the cabin, that is a different story. Can you elaborate? Skullz
You don't need to stick the box in it but rather open a place to allow the pressure through into the cabin.
