Just go with the 18" man, so you don't wish you would have gone bigger! I watch your build log, where are you gunna put it? Lol just take the seat out man haha

I'll take the seat out and build a box with a amp-rack built in. I know I'll regret it. I fould a 18 for $679 :P

Maybe do some more glass work man! Haha but yeah dude maybe even fabricate a box back there that you could sit in if you had to! That's not a bad price, I usually don't shop for kickers higher powered stuff due to the prices (but I love the cvr's for $70 a pop!!!!!!!!) but if you get a deal man go for it!

so far...

18 ftw!

Isn't the motor different between the smaller sized Solo-Xs and the Solo-X18?

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

I love the CVRS too. I'm really thinking of doing the 18.

If u have one amp now and 350$ for 2nd one shore beats the hell out of paying 1000$ for a 2500.1 and two 1500 will be 3k+ rms , the solox will only handle 3,5k daily (so I'm told ) just make shor u order duel 2 ohm 18"

Is this safe to do to a sub though?

how is the solo x 18s motor bigger than the 12? if its a different motor on the solo x 12 then technically its not a solo x...

a lvl 5 10-12-15-18 all have the same motor, just a different basket and cone size...

why would it be any different?

honestly, i wont give my opinion on kicker, but the 18 will play all kinds of music... just depends on what you tune the box to
