matt402
thats more of an "spl" alt, not that great for daily. iirc rusty has the same 1 in his asstro. u might be able to get more out of it with a different pulley or a smaller belt?... fox_racin4
Are your batteries healthy? never had an issue with them before, before they went in they were all at 12.7/12.8 i cant even pull the alt and get it tested locally..no one can "load" it over 150A lol 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole

fox_racin4
im not worried about the power it does at idle.. i dont usually sit and play always driving, and i can rev it up when i demo the truck i just dont think i should have as much drop as i do! 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
C-Fizzy
Does it drop right away at full tilt? Or over time? An aq3500.1 pulls 380 amps of current at 1 ohm. I can't imagine at .5 under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? Berto
Upgrade your wire. I'm almost 100% sure KCA isn't rated for that much amperage. And I know you said you already checked your wire, but check again. Mine was low a few days ago and I just tightened the bolt a tiny bit and it made a huge difference. And I don't think amperage pull by an amp changes a whole lot from 1ohm to .5ohms. But even if it does, the amp alone can almost keep the voltage staying where it's at. __d_a_v_i_d__
Idk but my friend has an AQ 3.5 at 0.5 with 2 c&ds in the back with stock alt and stays at 12s plays ... So I know u shouldn't stay at the same voltage with upgraded alt ... I think it's the alt ?
