TRTC360 Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 I'm looking to buy a 100 square foot package of sound deadener on ebay to start my install right, my 1st question is how much is 100 square feet? can I do my doors and my trunk? my car is a 93 firebird formula. and another question is will I notice the difference between a very recognized deadener brand like dynamat or audio technix, i'm looking at fatmat which is really cheap but i don't want to buy a shitty product so what is your opinion? should I save up and by dynamat or audio technix or just go with the fatmat? Ive only ever ran Dynamat in my first vehicle (door pack and a trunk pack only), then i moved up to Second Skin with my new vehicle which i have everything except my roof done in that. Id like to work with some AT though. carlosg_313 Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 i cant tell you a bias answer about fatmat or dynamat, but i can tell you about audio technix. the 25 sqft roll can cover my hatch door, almost my entire cargo area, and part of my roof. i got the 60mil on my cargo(before the 80 mil came out) and im in the process on applying the 80 mil on my doors and working my way down to my entire front half of my car. im happy with the product, and i really recommend using audio technix. if you live in houston, you can just pick it up. as a matter of fact, coleman did a comparison with ALL the deadener(including dynamat and fatmat), Teh Link How do the Japanese feel about bass?You know that since 03/11/11 Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller. Refs - Pstone11, porksoda, coleman
