Integra_boomer
I have just started running the sundown sa-12s a daily on a 3000d and boy do they get down! but when i go for more than a minute or so they will start to heat up and il start smelling the coils.. not to mention today my friend and i heard the coil hit the magnet a few times. And ik im not even seeing 3k. Would spl coils help with the demos? or should i just upgrade to a z series woofer or nightshades? sundownz
What is your box like ? Being our 600-watt line there is a point where you have to back down a bit running a large amp on them. I'd suggest looking into the Z v.3 line when available. sundownz
The Z v.3 will be out newest 1500-watt woofer -- about 90 days out. In the mean-time we do have some v.2 motors still stocked that are not 100% cosmetically perfect -- these are a solid 1500-watt driver much more suited to your power.
