After several problems and vendors taking forever to get products out to the builder the Tahoe is running again. It feels strong, boost is up and the belt isn't slipping anymore. I have become sleptical about the dyno that has been throwing out what seems to be high numbers. Even the builder doesn't believe them but who knows. I am going to have another shop dyno it before I put up anything that I feel is over estimated. LG Motorsports is local and they are very well respected so I will see when they can get some realistic numbers. I have been researching new throttle bodies and have come to the conclusion that the TB is the main restriction now keeping me from producing more boost. So with that in mind I pulled the 78mm truck TB off and got a new LS7 90mm TB and Torque Rush harness. Still having an adapter plate being mocked up so it will clear the super charger but should be on sometime this week. sully Posted December 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 Got a little more done over the past few days, it will be slow since I don't have a lot of time but I am determined to get this done over the next couple weeks. I sent out the TB to a machine shop to build a billet mount, they make industrial parts but the owner is into racing so he was happy to help out. Started on the gauge install today and got it mocked up, wainting to see where the speaker and bully dog scanner will be in the pillar before I glass it all in.
