You misread David, Thor mentioned testing a 4" Lv 5 10 in the OP I believe, but these aren't it.

Looks sick man, I know you must be happy. I'm happy to see them!

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Awesome stuff... but am I doing something wrong as I've bottomed my level 5s out in the past?

The only way to bottom it out is to lose your suspension. You can however overthrow the pole on extreme excursion which sounds alot like tapping the back plate. :good:

Once you hear and know that sound you know to turn it down

Ah right I see, so if the suspension breaks it will back plate? Otherwise the noise I've heard is overthrow? This doesn't do damage like back plating does it?

Cheers buddy.

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

1488?

That is Robs youtube name ThorsHammer1488. Thanks to Rob and Rusty for signing one of the hammers. Thanks Rob for rebuilding them for me and I will definitely give them the love and beatings they deserve. Bad little woofers.
