The only way to bottom it out is to lose your suspension. You can however overthrow the pole on extreme excursion which sounds alot like tapping the back plate. Once you hear and know that sound you know to turn it down Ah right I see, so if the suspension breaks it will back plate? Otherwise the noise I've heard is overthrow? This doesn't do damage like back plating does it? Cheers buddy. Quote
