it doesnt matter what your goal is. once you hit it you will just make a bigger goal.

So true bro. Good luck OP.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

You won't get a 150 on a 3000w rms amp. Even clamping 3000 watts, it'd be a struggle. It's nice that you have goals, but you have no idea how hard it is to get a 150. A 145 with 1 12" is pretty hard too.

There's a guy Anton Miller from Midwest SPL that does 150's with 2 12's on alittle over 2kw clamped. And he is tuned to like 29hz too.

Its not Impossible but very hard. I have the loudest trunk system I and anybody at my shop has ever heard, My car sounds amazing with all the components I am using. Here is a vid of my car at a car which I walked away with a trophy from :). My system played full tilt for 6+ hours and played all together for 8 hours :). I built it to be very reliable, Tuned low, and sounds GREAT :)

Alpine R's are BEASTS

Yea they are, They LOVE the low notes! I loved my old 15's I wish I would have jumped to the 12's instead of messing with all the other subs I used over the years.

I Agree with you there man, i love mine

I got my first 150 with an atomic 5k and a pr of AQ HD3 10's. At that time I was told 150 with a pr of 10's was impossible out of a trunk. lol The challenge is wear its at!

150 is possible! Just Do It!! :drinks:

what he said it can be done...here is another person doing a 150+ in a civic
