skittlesRgood
i think something very interesting would be to throw in a RF or kicker 8" into this setup and see how much better our favorite underground brands are compared to the mainstream brands. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. BulletInjection
different subs will perform better under different conditions, if the boxes had been larger or smaller it could have lowered the DD and raised the DC. Anyway good test, its never fun replacing speakers multiple times My build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...8920&st=100 http://www.youtube.com/Bulletinjection
ChevyBoy95
great tests from all, but was i the only one to notice they metered in order of rms? (dd is 500, sa is 400, dc is 300) edit: nvm saw others with the same ish. Ric Thornton
different subs will perform better under different conditions, if the boxes had been larger or smaller it could have lowered the DD and raised the DC. Anyway good test, its never fun replacing speakers multiple times we've been over this 10000000000 times. I built boxes at "spec" for both DD and Sundown... the results were not even worth posting. but neither cleared a 140. the DD did a 139.9 but that was it. and you and a few others are right... it's a pain in the ass to keep swapping subs b/c you have to take the box out each time. Rainman215
But does that mean that the 1 box is optimal for any 8" sub in that vehicle?
