Louisiana Bass
Just keep an eye on the voltage, if it drops too much for your liking, turn the gain down a little bit Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
18abVFL
i know how to hook up a volt meter no problem, but how do i go about running it on the dash, when i wanna see what the AMP'S EXACT voltage is? i dont wanna just hook it up to a 12v wire up front... homiewes
well just hold off on the alternator.. after everything is hooked up, see how your voltage is.. if its bad, then you will need an alt upgrade.. rickyfromthe407
Go with XS over Kinetik if ya can afford it! Just my $0.02 Should be good w stock 80 amp alt and under 2k rms Monitor it with either a digital multimeter or a volt meter - if ya see dropping you could always up the alt to a better alt ( like someone said before make sure it has a good low rpm output ) Youll be fine bro! Supercharged DCs
I'd do a D3100 in the rear OR D3400 upfront with a D975 or whatever the smallest XS battery is in the rear... There's near a 40A difference between our Alts, so I'd try and make up that difference with an extra battery or larger battery... Quote Bassless once again. Reading > Me. lol Just run the volt meter to the back. Tie the wires in with the amplifier. Your voltage shouldn't be off by more than .1 or so. Just make sure you adjust the volt meter with a known good DMM when you get it. Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
