Any difference in score with a change in RCA cable

Hello SMD,

My current RCA cables

I have had these RCA's for a while now, since my last set up. They are decent RCA's, but I have been eying up some beefier ones from Knuconceptz.

Something along the lines of this

Has anyone ever gained a dB or two from swapping their RCA's?

Thanks fellas. I'm wondering if its worth the few extra bucks.

you will not gain a db or two by simply switching an RCA. its not like you are going from some rag tag rca to a high end. id think Id trust the RFs over the knu anyways.

i dont think changing out your RCAS would make you gain a db or 2..thats quite a lot..

If anything, beefing up your RCA's will improve SQ, but by how much, is only heard by you.

Well, I was really trying to be funny it is possible that either the L or the R side was fucked, still don't know how much more that would give him though.

I apologize 1-2 dB is kind of a lot, haha. I am in no way experienced in car audio like you fellas are, I am just thinking from a distortion standpoint. I heard a few people gaining a decibel or two from the SMD distortion detector, so I was wondering if there was any DRASTIC difference in the quality of RCA's.

It may sound kind of dumb at first, but if you look at it my way it makes a little sense
