Good amp ground question

Ok so I have my ground coming off my amp and going into a stinger dual foot ground post. I have that bolted onto the metal of the floor of my truck. It's metal to metal I worked hard on making it shinny just wanted to make sure that's acceptable. If not please give me a better way.

drill a hole and use a grommet and run the ground under the truck directly to a clean place on the frame

The best ground is something firm but not too soft. When grounding i prefer limestone type of terrain over mud or concrete. Where do you ground?

Lol thanks guys. Ok and exactly how do I mount it to the frame? Not trying to ask dumb questions. Just want to be able to do it right when I do.

Drill a hole in the frame, grind the paint off, put a long enough bolt through it, nut and washer the ground wire to it.
