well the teams have nothing to do with your guys "spl teams"....its just two people that will get teamed up.

i was also pitching this to locals mainly because i dont know what i am doing yet and the first contest might be full of flaws...totally not professional. As good as i can make it but not totally pro yet. I basicly wanted to practice first, even though it will still be a real contest.

as far as free, why would i charge anyone? of course its free.

would this be a total build or just a sub stage?

what determines the winner? is this about how loud it gets, how good it looks, who can actually get it operational in the time limit?

i think the first one will be JUST subwoofer, everyone uses the same car which i will provide......and metering will be done with the TL. I will meter EACH FREQUENCY from 20-80hz (increments of 10hz) and run an average. LOUDEST at all frequencies (on average) will prob end up winning!

you are the type of person i WANT there! I may end up doing a rookie vs vet contest or i might mix/match a rookie with a vet to form teams. This way, its not just fun, its educational for the person who isnt as seasoned.

i have no idea what they have going on and i dont plan on looking......other forums talk major shit about me so i stopped browsing them...too depressing to read the things they say about me and all it does is make me want to get confrontational. I say let em talk i will just hang out here in my own house.

anyway, this is 100% my own idea, i havent looked at anything else anyone else is doing so no matter what nobody can accuse me of copying anyone.

i plan on using a different car for each episode. It might be the tercel the first time, but i have other cars lined up for the next ones.
