Middle port "Triangle" Poll

Wanted to poll those who have built a box with a middle port, and whether or not I should put a triangle at the back of the port where the T is. Here is my box

So, triangle or no triangle?? And maybe a little info to back up your reasoning.

i vote yes so that air turbulence is reduced and not colliding with the other ports wave

I say yes. To really "separate" the subs airspace and smooth out the flow of air. It looks like it would have to be a small triangle though. Are you doing any more 45's?

I did it for my tahoes box but couldn't tell you if its beneficial or not (sorry there)

i think its meade that has a video showing that putting it there actually increased output. i just think it has to be the same height as the port corner

^this, I think the box he made was for a couple 12's and the air compressor and bag was a clear example

45 the port itself then add the "triangle." You don't want to block the port... A 1/2" lip probably won't do much for you.

i have that triangle in my explorer´s box but i never tested a before/after result since i didn´t have my TL a year ago when i built that box. When are you installing this box???? i might be able to do a before/after test for you on a friend´s box and update the SPL gains topic with that

Well, this is looking pretty one sided. Makes for an easy decision.

Fecupe, its not going in until I get my DC's, so a few weeks probably still.
