I still think there good subs, probably would not have blown it but since gas was high and my yukons my daily drive I took one out to get rid of some pounds (i had a 6cuft boxe, one for each sub, so 2 of them) and ended up over doing it I guess. Anyways what to do with the motors/baskets? I was told they could not be fixed. I still might buy 1or 2 more or up to the solo x witch can be reconed. But I just got some rims so moneys low. Forevrbumpn Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share Posted July 17, 2011 I recently got new coils for these too. D1 flat aluminum good for 1000 rms easy. I have them in more of a spl format and a longer throw sq design. I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
