scooter99 Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Nice job on bolting. Did you cover those with fiberglass? If so what reason was that for? I only ask cause if you ever have to remove them for any reason, I'd think that would cause some problems. Coming along nicely though. Nice job! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
Autruche Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 Too bad Autruche, I guess I take that as a compliment? Although, you wont get that clean "factory" look without cutting them.. But i think it's turning out fine Oh, no I mean that my front door panels are literally cut into 6 pieces from changing my plans for my door panels so much. I'm on my 5th door panel rebuild now. Basically, I'm just making something to hold me over for now, until I buy new front door panels. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? It might become a problem, but I'll deal with it then. Nothing have really happened the last days, I've been away helping my mother with some building, and tomorrow I'm going away again, to another place though. Staying over the wheekend On the bright side, I got my 15m (50ft?) of 1/0 gauge today And parts for my clutch is on its way, so I can get the car on the road again Also I wonder when my LEDs will arrive ? zxsonnyxz Posted September 11, 2011 Author Report Posted September 11, 2011 What you see in these pictures is the molested clutch friction plate and the LEDs for the window. If you look close at the clutch pictures you can see that on one side the friction material is still intact, though wery worn, and on the other side it's all gone It got so worn that it just shred itself to fibres that poked out of every hole in the bellhousing.. zxsonnyxz Posted September 29, 2011 Author Report Posted September 29, 2011 Seems like a long time since last update, but I have started on the doors again. Leftside doorpanel is on the door pretty much, with wires ran through the stock "rubber thingy". Some dampenig have been done in the hatch area, but more is to be done. Backdoors are also screaming for some deadening. I'm currently waiting for some parts to replace a leaky exhaust system. Might have to replace the head gasket aswell... Oh well, as long as i dont screw up the valve timing i should be good Also, this Saturday the local car audio guys are arranging a small db-contest and I'm planning on checking it out. It wil be my first time ever so it should be cool to see what kind of level theese local cars are at, and what kind of rules they are following. scooter99 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I really like that lighted panel you did. Can you do a picture with the lights covered and see how it lights up? Like throw some black duct tape over the edges maybe? Sorry, I know it's a crazy request, just thought I'd ask. Also, how thick is the glass? Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
