Moving from Michigan to North Carolina

Recommended Posts

Moving to north carolina next month and I'm pretty excited. I want to know though from people who live there, is car audio big there? I mean I hope I'm not gonna be the only one around that's into it. Coming from michigan anything to do with cars is big here. Almost everyone in my family made a living building cars, its what we do here. Chances are the majority of your cars you drive were assembled down the road from me. I'm just a little worried its not gonna be the same down in NC, but who knows! So what is car audio really like down there?

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Where in NC? There is a decent scene, not huge, but it's getting big again. In the early 2000's it was HUGE and everybody was bumping, now we are working on it again.

Its a town/suburb called Clayton just outside of Raleigh. Ive lived in the city my whole life and have always wanted to be in a peaceful subdivision so I'm looking forward to that. When I was down there looking at houses I went to wrightsville beach in Wilmington, it was real nice, reminded me of florida. I know ill be spending a lot of time there after I move.

I live here in Rocky Mount and you can hear systems all through the night haha but yea its pretty decent around here. I can't find an audio club to save my life though. I will agree it has slowed down a little but with the economy like it is and hardly no jobs here in NC I guess I can see why. I hope it will make a comeback though. Maybe we oughta think of tryin to get a club goin or get a NC chapter goin. Hit me up if your ever travelin and want to see others systems. NC has is a very chill state if you are in thre right place. Good luck with the move and welcome to NC bro!
