kam311
Those amps sell for a pretty penny! You could do that! But there are also amps that put out good power for less than the rf! You could sell both kickers and get a nice amp and still come out a little ahead maybe lol Quote so far... motocross593
Using pass thru is fine. Gain matching is tricky, you have to measure the output voltage of both amps and make sure they are the same AND make sure neither amp is clipping. so i can use a DMM and a 33htz test tone to see what the voltages are at on the speaker terminals? and the clipping is with an o-scope correct? One gain may be slightly higher than the other i just dont get why one amp picks up the lows better...im using the older gray zx750...and a new 2010 zx750(black one) could there be a diff between them in power and shit? Yes. This is the problem. You set your gains wrong and the amps are different. FML. i jus wanna sell em both. and get a RF t-1500. run it at 1 ohm. kam311
Yeah man I'd say get a t-1500 or a nice amp that does from 1500-2000 watts. Makes life easier lol Quote so far... Honestly I'd go with a sundown saz1500. Or I'd stick with the original rf idea Quote so far... Basically, but check the voltage at the amp, no speakers hooked up. Also, once you set the voltages right, if you use an o-scope the check for clipping and you have to adjust the gains, gotta go back and match them again. AQ has some nice amps, so does sundown, dc audio...lots of nice amps that are cheaper than the RF amps. None of them have cp though! But you won't be disappointed in an of what I listed. kam311
The sundown is underrated by quite a bit, that's why I suggested it, because after box rise you'd probably still he seeing the most power. Rf is underrated as well, and like skippy said, it has cp which means that it makes 1500+ at 1ohm and makes nearly (if not exactly) the same power at 2ohms making box rise not an issue.
