For 1500w the Big 3 and an upgraded battery under the hood will do just fine, and anyone who tells you differently is an idiot. i have 2 of the big 3 down in 0 gauge...i ran out and couldnt do the engine to battery (-) could i just use a optima redtop? my alternator is only charging at 13.4 on my Cap right now...so im positive its takin a shit on me. ive been bangin on it for almost a yr now. Get more 0awg wire, finish up the Big 3. I haven't had experience with Optima, I normally suggest XS Power batteries to anyone looking to upgrade. what size XS do u think would be good? I like to stay above the resting voltage of my battery, which is 12.6v, so anything above that I consider good (for me at least.) Quote Bassless once again.
