Recommended Posts

so i blew my T1 15's and i am waiting to get replacements. but for the mean time, i am trying to hook up 2 12s to my T1500.1 at 2ohm like this..

but im not sure how i would hook the wires to my amp since there is 2 + and 2 -

would i hook up the + on one channel of the amp, and the - to the other channel??

ooh yea, they are Sony xplods too. :peepwall::lol:

the extra positives and negatives are for ease of wiring, just use one positive and one negative and wire the subs like shown above.

Just hook the subwoofers directly to the amp, its a mono amp (1 channel) when hooking the two 4 ohm subwoofers to it, the amp will see a 2 ohm load. Or just wire them like above.

even if the subs are single voice coil? just hook one sub to each channel, and call it a day?

yes. a mono amp has multiple terminals, not have multiple channels. this seems to confuse so many people. they come together inside the amp. so wire it just like above either in each terminal, or in one terminal. makes no difference
