(Updated 06/30/12) Envoy 4th order DEMOLITION!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Some people use the orange 10-2 or 12-2 electrical wire from hone depot as it is very formable and tangible. Mobile solutions sells some things that help as well. But cardboard is your friend. I was planning in posting a how to in my build. Maybe I will when I do the drive side?

Not trying to post dump but OP, how did you take the tailgate panel off your lift gate? I am going to take mine off to deaden the entire rear lift gate but am not fully sure how to take it off. I can only find how to do the trailblazers on trailvoy.com. I know i take out the black plug near the latch for the glass but does everything else just pry off? Please let me know if you can.

IIR you have to take off the piece around the glass first. Then I think there are a few screws under the bottom part that have to release the rest. It has been 3 yrs since I took it off last. Hope it helps.

What are your specs and tuning?

Thanks. Itis 8 sealed 16 ported I'm going to tune it to around 48-53hz. 250in^2 of port area. I'm going with removable port so I can play around with it.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well Im back from vacay. Got stuck back home because of The damn Hurricane. Today I got all the wiring done for the subs and got half of them in. Tomorrow I should have them all in and i will start working on getting the batteries wired up. I hope to have it playing by this weekend to test things out and start working on the port.
