It may sound amazing, only those that have heard it can say yes or no to that but....

OMFG! That "carpet slathered door panel"? It looks horrible IMO.

What are these judges lookin at in the best of show category?!!!

If anyone knows whats goin on here, or if he gave the judges a hummer (no not the truck) or paid em off or what?!

It almost looks like there is no door panel.. Maybe it was took off for pics of the speakers? Im not sure myself.

It must be with the panels off because those holes are where the tabs are for the panel.

I was lookin at that too, but then why would he carpet underneath?

It's just very odd and I REALLY hope that was not what actually "won" best of show.

I Don't know why if you would say it won best of show and then NOT show how it looks with the panels on? Like "I have the cleanest ride at the show" and then take pics of it covered in crap? it's odd IMO and I have been lookin round for some pics of that truck to see what's the dealio.

definitly, 100% thats what the door looks like with panels off, they are just showing the speaker installed- And carpet does help with noise reduction in some cases. I have attached carpet to door panels insides to make the door panel alot tighter fit, to reduce rattles

Well I still think its stoooopid cuz they show the speakers on their site and they just look "plain" anyhoo not smancey logo itchin for face time.

If I read "won best of show" (especially nowadays w/ such insane install work being done) I am gonna be lookin for that to see what it takes to win. They shoulda had the b4 and after pic- like panel on, and panel off. I bet the "best of show" door panel is a lot more attractive than a plain old black midwoofer surrounded by carpet.

It looks ok but I'm not "wowed" by that in the least.

Some times I think the "best of show" judges are womens gymnastics judges during the off season.

I lost best of show to a guy w/ like 12 screens in a ext cab truck who had a big ol rectangular slot ported box for 4 Powerbass Extreme 12's where the back seat used to be- (I THINK it was removed...but it may have been in there and box chillin on top) and he had wires everywhere, hella haphazard not clean lookin at all. I just lost to some screens and thats ghey.

I'll give him that his setup was louder by about 2 db but he had 4 times the wattage, 2 more batteries that i remeber, and his subs were right behind his head in the backseat. I think a lotta the time it's a popularity contest.

IMO, maybe you've had diff exp's.
