Bump for my teammate who has probabley spent more in recones for his current system then EVERY setup I have ever owned...

and Im sorry you feel that way Alpine, Ray has given Bill props in all his build logs, system of the month nominations etc.. Ray has done a huge portion of his build, and importantly, the tweaks and tinkers as well as the willingness to try new things. He is certainly more then a knob turner, as Bill stated above

I've only blown a sub 3 times because of clipping and loading issues my other recones were to change ohm load then I reconed all 4 at the same time my system is really consistent does the same numbers all the time just got back from dbdrag took a 2nd in ss3-4 with a 155.7 then won the 149.9 bassrace class with a perfect score also found out that if I have a passenger in the front seat I do a 156 even :-)

I didn't have a passenger during my official run my competitor did and he did a 156 so after he beat me I said let me see what a passenger does for me so we squared off and we both did a 156 then he blew a sub. Lol oh well it was a fun day now off to your neck of the woods to do some smashing ;-)

I appreciate the recognition everyone has offered in support of my friend and teammate. The official nomination has been sent to the Meca commissioner. Weather or not if he is recognized I believe he considers our comments in this thread to be one of the highest forms of respect. thats not always a good thing

i say that to say that he is determined to get the most out of his current build..some are quick to say "im maxed out, bigger subs, more power needed" etc, but he has been determined to get the absolute most out of his build.. as James said, its easy to throw money at a crazy install to get loud. Ray has been trying to get loud all year with some amps as well as subs; he never "gave up" on his build

Same amps same subs same box I upgraded my electrical a lot but that's it. Was able to pull over a db out of everything with a lot of testing and tweaks
