sayhuh?
Like this, then the two wires coming off, plug into the terminal on the box...or drill a hole, run the wire thru it and seal the hole up. So I want to take the + and - from the one sub to the other and then to the terminals? Rather than my current setup where they both go the terminals from the subs. Do you have the negative of one coil, connecting to the the negative of the other coil directly? Same with the positive or the coils...on both subs? sayhuh?
This may be your problem. You might be running them like this You have to connect just like in the image. Then the wires coming out can connect to the box terminal. This is probably why you read 2 ohm Blown

sayhuh?
How can he run them like that if thats for SVC not DVC? You don't have to use both coils of a DVC sub. You can use one coil, but the RMS rating changes to around 40% or the DVC rating. Hobbs, I'm not sure if that still has the same affect. I have never set it up like that. try it from sub to sub and see what it does. Doing the way you are makes me think you are running each sub parallel. sayhuh?
Try the sub wiring first, then if you still aren't satisfied, ask for port help on here. I'm not the greatest by any means. I just have some knowledge lol. A lot I still dont know! Blown
TheyDontWantMusic
I completely disagree. Look at ray doing a 152-153 with 2 mayhem 12s in a suburban IIRC. The size box he has for those things wouldnt fit in the trunk of a civic. So your logic is not correct. I didn't realise I had to clarify that it has to be a setup that will fit in both cars, I thought that was very obvious.

Hobbs155
Wat about a bad set of rca's?? That's a good point, I think I must try some others, what are the best ones to buy? I think I need better quality RCAs anyway.
