SQMonte
It's not if your subs will work at 1 ohm, it's if they can handle the power your amp will give them at 1 ohm. What amp? What subs? bassrace
If you are able to wire your subs to 1 ohm then they will play at 1 ohm. Amps are a diff. Story. TRTC360
it's not a matter of the subs working at 1 ohm it's if they are able to be wired down on the amp to 1 ohm, for example two dual 4 ohm subs can be wired down to 1 ohm on a monoblock amp, now if you run multiple amps, svc or dvc subs, there's endless possibilities depending on what kind of subs you get. edit: damn ninja's!!! always happens to me! tonedeaf
Use a DMM. Or know what coil config your subs are and how they are wired. Parallel cuts impedance in half, series doubles impedance. 2 4 ohm SVC subs can be wired to 2 or 8 ohms.

soundsystemaniac
lol yup... you also need to make sure your coils will allow you to wire it to 1 ohm. you need either single 1 ohm coil, dual 2 or dual .5...or i suppose even quad .25 or quad 4 lol Quote Chevy astro 2 18s and 9k rms Walled!http://www.stevemead...rms-42-inch-tv/JEEP GRAN CHEROKEE SRT8 BUILD!2 JL AUDIO 15s trunk buildDC XL 15 buildDC level 3 18 buildhttp://www.stevemead...verunner-build/ http://www.facebook....hp?id=646651228

newls1
Well you see, if you want to tell if your subs can work at one ohm, you have to turn it over and lift it's tail. If you see 2 holes, it WILL NOT work at one ohm. Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
