I have been toying with the ideas picking up some extra tools so I could form a complete carbon piece or just wrap an existing piece. Would that interest anyone?

I have a good friend working on my website? For the business I'm opening.

Basically you send me a part, I form a mould, make a copy in carbon fiber, send it back! I haven't settled on prices, but we'll see

Pretty sure there was a guy on here doing that in the past. Or it might have been somewhere else. Anyway, not sure who would be doing the actual work between you and your friend, but from your post you aren't all that convincing you actually know what you are doing, so you would definitely need many examples of the work. Carbon fiber is pretty tricky to get looking right, and if people are sending you parts to be wrapped and even copied with a mold you can't be making mistakes.

^X2 If you've got many examples and if you have good craftsmanship I'd be interested.

I'll have some examples and prices out soon. I'll have a vacuum pump soon to form parts and I'll be able wrap existing parts. As soon as I get done buying our new home and moving, it will be full steam ahead!!!

I will not let items leave my shop without them looking amazing.

My friend is just making my website.

Just wanted to throw the idea out there to get some feed back.

That sounds like a good idea tbh, Ive seen cf used in cars like berylliums bmw and that shit looks amazing, but its meant to be hella tricky to get right... would give people a chance to get CF pieces without a lot of work,

Good luck with it :drinks:

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..
