jconnway
Just saw the new batts in the newsletter... Will they be replacing the standard line or just new additions? I see it specifically mentions a 3100 but will there be an XP 5100 equivalent? Quote Full Pioneer Build 4 Per Door - Front Door Build Up
corona_jeff
No. From what im being told is the D3100 equivalent will be first, with 3400 and a 680 model later. These will be used for audio battery banks in car and boat.....No really designed to be an under the hood applications. Expect to see more around SEMA time frame Edited August 30, 2011 by corona_jeff

THEKINGsBACK
Their cheaper if read the letter correctly Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

dereileak
Their cheaper if read the letter correctly but why are they cheaper, are they using thinner plastic shells or what? and if they are cheaper what are they sacrificing? Nathan @ XSpower
This is an entire new design of battery. There is a huge market for high capacity secondary/supplemental power batteries and this is the answer. Great for Marine and the car audio customers that need to add capacity for a lower price. More info the closer to SEMA we get.

Only designed for supplemental power with high capacity in mind.
