hoit Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 im looking into getting a 5 channel amp to power my entire system consisting of two Kicker 10cvx12-4 Ohm Round 12" Subwoofers and two pair of Infinity Reference 6030cs 6.5-Inch component speakers. i prefer just one single 5 channel amp to simplify things. im interested in the Hifonics Zeus Zxi60.4+1k 5 Channel Amplifier. does anyone have one of these amps? any suggestions for any other 5 chanel amps? 2007 Chevy Aveo Ls sedan 2 Sundown Xv2 on scv4k @ .5 ohm 2 pair RE XXX 6.5 components on sax200.4 @ 2 ohm Big Three, Three runs 1/0 power from front to back, 1 ground front to back Two runs ground from rear bank to chassis XS power d3100 upfront, 3 Odyssey 2150s in bank Singer 220 amp alt

EBW Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 I run hifoinics amps and as long as you stay away from the HFI line you will be happy. They are good amps....great for the money but like a good electrical system. Read a thread where maxxsonics said they loose roughy 18% power per voltage dropped but I call bs my old bx1605d clamped 15xx at 13.2, imo you can't get a better amp for your dollar. PasMag did a review on the Hifonics Zeus, with good reviews i love this sh--t man 1966 Ford Fairlane Pioneer prs 80, the big three, with 2 big azz agm batts, dual 270/200 amp alts , two 8'' mids and tweets in the kick( PPI phantom 600.2). two 10''s and tweets in the doors, two 10'' mids and tweets in the rear decK ( Lanar opti 500x2). 2 C2 Audio Threatcon 4 12s on a Crunch GP3000d. No crossover .
