All depends on box my friend I could blow my xls on 500 watts in the wrong box

box was built to spec with no loading issues. not saying its a bad sub. i was just getting a demo and one of the 2 blew up. ripped the surround apart and the cone looked like someone had reach in, grabbed a handful, and just crumpled it up. twas a shame :/
