EBW
Turbos are way more efficient, I'm a Garrett/Honeywell fan myself my old Talon had a Garret on it running 21pounds of boots it was silly 110mph burnouts on the interstate, but if you do go turbo don't put a huge bov on it that sound gives it all away. EBW
Did you put a fluid dampener on it yet and under driver pullys? jagblazer01
how come your set on a root style S/C? I mean dont get me wrong they are great products but you may want to consider centrifugal supercharger such as a Whipple, Paxton or ProCharger. But out of the 2 im gonna say the KB Quote Team Sundown Audio / Team XS Power / Team SHOK SMD Super Buyer/Sellerwww.sundownaudio.com www.shokindustries.com www.4xspower.com www.excessiveamperage.com
armykyle1
2010 GT, 4.6. Basic boltons with a tune and 3.73 gears. Ray, sending PM. I was about to ask if it was a 11 or 10, that makes a huge diff lol. I've seen the 4.6s put up good number on hp and tq, usually 25-35lb-ft less tq than hp. My vote goes to turbo, but I love the sound of a KB winding up. turbo can yeild epic number and still retain drivability. "less" stress on the stock motor for the most part. OrionStang
Did you put a fluid dampener on it yet and under driver pullys? Dampener no. Pullies yes, only good for 10hp and i'm sure the 270XP killed that. how come your set on a root style S/C? I mean dont get me wrong they are great products but you may want to consider centrifugal supercharger such as a Whipple, Paxton or ProCharger. But out of the 2 im gonna say the KB Just not a fan of Procharger and the like. tonedeaf
Do both after getting internals. No lag from the KB is killer, but I think since you have the low end you'd get more out of the turbo once spooled.
Ray
Well you can make 800 and still smog with a whipple. Thats why. No cali smog with turbo Unless you wanna pay 450 every 2 years.
