DodgerCannon
Has anyone got any pics of the vents In their 18" baskets? Thinking about splitting the basket from the motor and drilling mine some vents before they get reconed. Cheers.
kingsuv
I added vents to some awhile back. All I had to do was drill into the baskets. I didn't have to pull them from the motor to do it. I have pics I can add tonight if ya need them. Pretty simple process overall. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
dwright27
They look like the wants on the other baskets. Make sure you don't go to deep and drill into the coil and former. kingsuv
This is NOT something I suggest anyone do without pulling the cone. There is too much of a risk of losing metal savings into the coil gap. After I made the hole, I hit the edge with a black sharpie to hide the bare metal.
