2nd try doesn't work, FITS NOW

Get rid of your A/C and you have plenty of room.

^^^This or

You could move your battery to the truck.

From what I understand its impossible to run dual alts in the Mazda 3. Damn you Mazda and your sneaky ways.

I can build a Denso just like the one you already have that will be a more compact mount, the ears are @ 10 and 2, very close to the housing. If you want to install a 2nd unit in limited space that's the way to go. 220 all the way to 320a available.

I would love to run a dual alt setup! The Neon doesn't have much room under the hood. I would have to take out my A/C to achieve it.

Do you have pics of what you did to install this unit? This might help out other Neon customers until I come up with an in-house solution.

I will take some pictures when I get home from work this morning. It isn't too far off of the stock bracket, just beefier and isn't pretty. We messed up on drilling a hole so we ended up slotting it and I only had red rustoleum paint. Just wanted some sort of rust protection from the winter months, damn Iowa and Illinois weather and all the salt they put down...

My battery is on the opposite side of the motor not even close to the belts. This is for an 05 Neon SXT.
