Half of the shit surrounding the movement starts with "the little secret "they" didn't want you to know"... That ruins it because those people see a conspiracy in their forking Cheerios. Sanitarium Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 I'm not gonna sit here and read through all the bickering of closed minded people stuck in their personal beliefs in this topic but i will add this. I've first hand witnessed the corporate greed that seems to be a recurring theme in these protests. The company i work for has downsized it's work force and made us all believe in "get faster or you'll have no job" to the point that we are now 70% more efficient then we were 3 years ago with less people. I work a 12 hour shift and quite often i'll go all 12 hours barely getting enough time to eat a bolognia sandwich from the vending machine >> while walking around doing work. And why has it gotten to be this way? Because the company as a whole wanted to maintain the yearly profits. Owner's putting over 2 million dollars in his pocket every year from us, 3 years ago that number dropped 1%.. yes, he lost $200k of his $2.xM and decided to ruin lives to try and get that back. This same bullshit is happening accross the country and people are getting sick of it. It just sucks that they want to filter in their politcial views and other bullshit, watering down the real cause and problem here.

I dunno man, the birth rate of the boomers was around 4.3 million a year as to where this generation was around a million less. I agree that this generation has the blinders on, but I don't think I would go as far as to say it was planned especially when some of the biggest hits were created by people who are now in their 30's.
