ive seen 160 burps on one good batt

apx nice subs. For batts what voltage you want? i live in aus and got 2 8v batts that i could sell plus shipping there. runing a dc 9k at half ohm at 16v (floats up to 18v) and on a long burp it won't drop bellow 14v

You're going to need more battery power for 6kw-rms, unless you are building a burp box and not playing the subs musically.

Yes will be for a burp box. I live in nz and we only have one competition once a year, and only have the gear in my car for 2-3months, so you can understand why spending aload of money on battery would be pointless.

another 3 batteries would cost me $2,900

I have looked into high output alternators but too pricey for me to convert the price then shipping costs $1000 plus.

This was with dc power alternator.

As for the box, go with a decent sized box that fits the area you have to work in and start messing with different sized ports, and port locations. For burping you're gonna want alot of port.

if its for burp only and thats it why the alt? my 16v charges at max of 40amps

roll in with 18v burp it drive away and let it slowly top up

Only have yellow,red,blue top batteries here, everything else has to be imported. Like I said I dont want to buy a h/o alternator due to the costs and yes we only have one competition a year here.

Would getting a 180amp or 220amp alternator be worth it as its the cheapest dc power do?

And run a yellow top under the hood.

I was using just one Kinetic HC2400 battery,and getting 150.1db running off my 2x e-audio 3000d.

if all your gonna do is burp. should buy a charger and charge when out the lanes.

do you have car on when burping? besides you really get one shot at the burp with full power..
