BFF Larry
I want to get started on building a box for the sub. it'll be going in the trunk of a 95 Bonneville. I have the back seats out so an option of a sealed trunk install is available, but it wont be for long because my gf is due in December. i should have a second car soon, so i'm open to ideas pertaining to that install. Ill measure the available trunk space as soon as i get up in the morning. But i have a couple questions... Will a sub and port facing the cabin from the trunk get loud? how about the sub mounted vertical (cone facing Lid) be louder and port facing towards the back of trunk or into the cabin? Any help is greatly appreciated. Once i get the dimensions, I'll post them and edit my Original post. I can donate $10 towards someone that's experienced in calculating enclosures that'll help me get blueprints. BFF Larry
Any ideas? Please help. I've been looking at different box designs people have done with trunk installs. Would port and sub facing forward into the cabin be louder? Why you always gotta stick your nose in peoples business and cut on them? Does that make you feel good? You do this all the time! It gets old. Why don't you stick to giving car audio related advice. Wait, nevermind. CJ18
As far as fitting 1 18 in a trunk I have no clue on that part but for the box dimensions I would be in the 5.5ft3 after displacement and 80in2 of port.
