I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/
Guest
how do i detect clipping.i only turn my deck up a quarter of the way. i dont have smd dd1 or nothing.it sounds clean, and my grounds are fine. ground from amp ground to chassis and from amp case to chassis. wait what?????? elaborate on what you did please. your amp doesnt need an amp case to chassis ground. what made you think you needed one? Rebel4055
Yeah big no no on the amp chassis to car chassis... You only need the ground that the amp provides. Rest In Peace mother. pimpnFosgates
my brother taught me to do it. on a crunch amp i got from him, the board was mounted to the metal case (he took it apart and did it cuz it was supposed to help cool) and it never had a good ground, so i grounded case and worked fine from then on. so since then, ive done to all my amps. pimpnFosgates
bogus...ok so the 2nd ground might be the problem? and the amp originally had towo fans. 1 to blow in and 1 to blow out.the 1 that blows out doesnt work anymore.could that also make a prob?
