subs burning and amp on fire

now i gotta think about how im gonna mount the skars in my rear deck lid and how to make the box.

You are going to mount your subs in your rear deck lid? :popcorn:

Don't mount them in the rear deck lid man. Make a box lol

Wire- 1/0 awg welding lead

Electric- Big 3 ^same wire

Subs- 2 Obsidian Audio 12 d4's

im going to build a box off the rear deck lid. the box is going to be mounted dec lid and im going to make risers to lift the sub up a bit so i only have to do minimal cutting. and in my dart, the best dsound i ever got out of a sub was sitting in the bak seat

I probably wouldn't spray water on my equipment but that seems really hot surprised nothing has been damaged.

What do you currently have your amp grounded to? Are your fuses bad? And what wire are you using?

to the chassis under the body, fuses are fine and 8 gauge

DAT HF1000.1 #007 powering a DC lvl4 15

DAT HR 4085 prototype powering 2 Selenium 6s and 2 no name tweeters running active

1st place in AS3 @ Surf City Sound Off, 140.8 @ 45hz @ the headrest.
