meade916 Posted September 30, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 Ahh, so that's what you were doing at Fry's yesterday afternoon in Roseville I was in my work van and was sitting at the light on Sunrise and Douglas and heard a beastly ass exhaust, didn't sound like a mustang, didn't sound like a Camaro, sounded kind of exotic......so i'm looking around and all of a sudden I see Darth Vader rolling down Douglas and making a right turn on Sunrise. It looks cool in the pictures/videos and all but when you see and hear your F rolling down the street in person it's pretty damn impressive! It looks so fuckin' mean too, shits clean The exhaust note kinda reminds me of a Maserati. Nice rig too...it's about time for me to build myself a new one. I'm going AMD though. Trying to wait for the new Bulldozer CPU but if I hold my breathe any longer i'm gonna die hahah COOL bro thanks!! I only know how it looks and sounds from the driver seat, its good to get a 2nd persons impression who hasnt seen it before. Well its good to get a good review on that 2nd persons impression too and ya, i was at fry's with tons of shit in my cart and my wife calls and says "dont you have to be at the dentist at 1"......its 12:52. I drop everything and haul ass to the dentist which is just over the overpass from fry's. Got my choppers cleaned up and rolled back to fry's to get the shit i left behind. Basicly i was in that area for a good 3 hours so ya, that was me for sure lol. this thread is the outcome of that long ass day. Oh and i got that classic feeling i always get "fry's regret"......you know after you spent more money then you should have now your feeling guilty LOL. I get it all the time.....too late now. I've been running an i7 920 [email protected] (stock voltage) since they came out, love it and this is definitely the first PC I've had in a long time that hasn't shown its age in the slightest (OC and 18gb of tri-channel helps). @Whoever it was that says they can't use their 8gb of ram... I use mine for work as well so I constantly run VM's each with around 4gb of ram so it gets used pretty quick. Too bad, I lost a BRAND new freshly built computer 5 years ago when I was 15, was my 4th build (first one when I was 12). It was one of those huge full towers which weren't very popular at the time, and it had a fan at the top. Took my brother 30 minutes to spill a FULL glass of water down the top fan the company thought that they decided was placed so well. That sure was a smokin build.
