pstone11 Posted November 2, 2011 Author Report Posted November 2, 2011 I had family in town for a couple days so I took some time off of this build...back on it today and pretty hard for the next couple weeks. Started off with a low beam HID upgrade - kit came with new glass and bulbs for the high beams as well. Before and after - much cleaner. After I pulled the emissions anc charcoal cannister out there was this awesome huge spece on the drivers side that was begging for another battery - so I slid a D2400 in there. Fit really nice - had to put a tray in and make a quick bracket to hold it down but all is good now. Wired it into the first battery, installed the main fuses for the runs to the back, finished up wiring the shift sensor for the digital dash, installed the alarm pin switch for the hood... and a few other things.. back to it tomorrow. Had to button up a few things, fix some stuff that was broken when I got the car so I can finally move on to the system. pstone11 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Report Posted November 8, 2011 Started on the enclosure today - first off was making a template so I could see where to cut the port into the rear deck. Cut this piece out: Built a port chunk that will live in that hole And, it fits just right Had to make the front of the box and floor - - this was so I can see where the port and box were going to meet up - this way I can get both pieces cut just right. Made some adjustments and here is where I sit. This is going to get some awesome sound into the cabin of the car - tomorrow the enclosure should take some really good shape.
