CaptainzPlanetz Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 What I know of it. It is like a one time use credit card. It is all based on your credit raiting per purchase. IE: You select bill me later, they send send a credit check for that purchase as if you just applyed for a credit card. If your found in good standing then they will approve x purchase. So it is purchase by purchase case. The better credit you have the more you will be approved for. From what I know, you can get really high limits if you have the credit to do so. (A friend droped about 7k at newegg and was approved). At the same time it is really all depending on credit, and your dept to credit ratio. They are lagit, and have been around for around 10 years to my knowladge. They regularly report to all credit agencys. And like previously stated they do run deals on things. But when you hit the limit for time to pay intrest free then if you recall that initial credit check. Be ready if you have bad credit to get a really bad intrist rate. If you are responsable with your credit and bills. Then go for it. But if it's going to be a really big purchase that you do not know if you can pay off by the promotional intrist free window, especially if its a year or so to pay off. Then you can be stuck with a huge intrest fee/rate. im curious how they determine the minimum monthly payment? like say i bought 250 bucks worth of shit right now how much would i need to pay each month to be ok If I recall the min payment is 25-35 depending on purchase of what you have to pay. But depending on what your terms are on the purchase depends on what promotion there is if there is one. IE: if 6 months you would probally be looking at $45 a month to pay it off before the defeard intrest would start. welp i got denied right off the bat lol oh well Woot I am approved for 501 dollars right off the bat ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ All BS aside, If I see one more comment in here that is NOT about the pre-sale, I will start the vacations. And that includes the trolls feeding the trolls. But if you are looking to improve your credit, I would sugjest getting a secured credit card from a reputible bank. Dump 75% of your paycheck on it each pay period, and pay all bills with it, and anything and everything you can with it. This will show up on your credit report as a positive revolving account and will help build your rating or help fix bad credit ratings.

CaptainzPlanetz Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 so how do i know if i can be a member i know i spend over 4k on paypal alone Just try to buy anything with paypal and click bill me later, fill in the few fields and it will tell you if you approved or not, then in you paypal you can see how much your starting credit limit is. Also just cause you have the bill me later option doesn't mean you have to use it ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ UnderLoK Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 ehhh if you are concerned with how much the monthly payment would be to be "ok" you can't afford what you're looking at. I'm not trying to be a dick, but crap like this is exactly how people get in trouble. These services exist to screw people over because they count on you not paying it off in time. RobDH Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 ehhh if you are concerned with how much the monthly payment would be to be "ok" you can't afford what you're looking at. I'm not trying to be a dick, but crap like this is exactly how people get in trouble. These services exist to screw people over because they count on you not paying it off in time. If you don't you're paying compounded interest... It is not there to screw people over. It is there on the 50/50 if you buy stuff on impulse and you are not able to pay what is needed off. Then yes that was a poor choice on your part. But buying with knowing you can afford it, you just don't want to shell out a full amount up front, but able to pay it off responsibly in the allotted amount of time. Then it is worth it. In the end of the day someone with no revolving credit accounts on there report is the same as someone with out any credit at all or bad credit after spending stupidly. It all comes down to balance knowing what you can and can't afford and doing so in a reasonable and responsible way.
