Not all subs are going to be recommended the same enclosure. I had a box for 2 nightshade 18's. It was 8.25 cubes net. Bassraced a 49.9 in an explorer. Traded those subs out for 2 Fi BL 18's and it sounded horrible. See where I'm going with this?
