new guy
i have someone willing to trade me a R1000-1D for my hifonics brz-1200d. but i was looking at there specs on sonicelectronix and the hifonics has a better signal to noise, less thd at rated rms, and the hifonics has a subsonic the fosgate doesnt. would those things affect much? i thought fosgate was spouse to make really amazing amps? should i still go with the fosgate? i need 1000 at 2 ohms witch the fosgate gives but the hifonics only gives 900 rms. which do you think would be better for me? extremeauto
its a brz so it should do its rated power so if you trade ur getting screwed @ 1ohm out of 200 watts...but if the RF gives you 100 more watts @2ohm its a tough call.RF i think cost more.but the hifonics amps do sound really clean...i love hifonics amps personally so im gonna say keep the hifonics Quote 1995 Honda passport 3.2 4x4 Frankenstein on a budget ballistics sound deader (roof only so far) kenwood mp3 usb audio control 3 (upgrading) hifonics mx-3 3 sets of massive px5 5.25s 3 sets of massive tweets phonix gold 5.25 componets x2 massive nx4 nano 200x4 mids sony xplod 600x4 watt high's 2 Fi bl fully loaded box walled @31ish hz 13.2 cube box/wall massive DB8000 Excessive amaperge 250 amp alt wir extrnl regulator daul runs of xs power xpflex 0 gauge big 3 raptor 0 gauge power/ground wire full run suriken 45 amp hour x3 shriken bt-120 batts, interstate 1100CA semi batt scytek galaxy 2way alarm still upgradeing! 01VWGREENMACHINE
in my opinion i would go with the fosgate. they been around along time and they are a solid product. as for bassknob those are cheap on ebay besides your getting more power out of the fosgate =] but its up to you good luck Quote http://www.stevemead...f-system-build/ 2001 VW GTI with a 1.8T motor BIG 3 Pioneer AVH-4200DVD DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT 6 - 4 VOLT PREOUTS RF T1500-BDCP (running at 2 ohm) RF T400.4 RF T1 D212 x2 (in ported box) RF 1/0 TO 4 GAUGE distribution block x 2 all stinger wires 200a alternator (SINGER ALT) RF T2652-S (6.5 MID BASS AND 1" TWEETS in front and rear) KINETIC HC 800 BATTERY (Front) KINETIC HC 1200 BATTERY (BACK) 120ft of 1/0 stinger blue and clear matt 20ft of 4 gauge stinger blue and clear matt 30ft of 8 gauge stinger blue and clear matt 100ft of 12 gauge stinger speaker wire black

kam311
i would go with the hifonics. the rockford is part of the rockford prime series which is the bottom end line ^^this Your hifonics is actually probably higher quality, from what I've seen the RF prime series isn't anything special. Plus don't worry about the 100 watts, on a daily set up that isn't even an audible difference, and to be honest probably isn't a difference at all. Quote so far...
