Hifonics Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Hey, I'm starting a new project on my f-150. I got 6 cubes of volume for my box tuned to 35hz (ported). I had a 15" Fi BTL but I destroyed it and want to do something new. My budget is around 400 + shipping (can go slightly over). My preference is 15" sub(s) but I'm open to suggestions. I have 2600 watts of RMS to play with. So what I'm asking for is suggestions on what to buy. I don't want to be frying subs anymore because it's costing me too much money. So basically I'm looking for a setup that won't kill my wallet but will also be able to pound and take the power from my amp. Also SPL > SQ for this build. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! And it takes 1200 watts rms (im guessing it'll do 2k no sweat though). A bit high in price. As for the BTL, it was my daily sub. My commute is over 45 min each way every day and I like to pound my subs. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.

Be alot cheaper and with your math here get another year out of it.
