help me choose an 18 aq or fi

i need to choose in between an aq hdc3 18, saving up to get a fi bl/btl 18, getting a fi ssd 18, or another option i have would be to build an 18 with the rd sonance v2 motor i have.

which ever sub i get would be going in a 6 cubic foot box with 97 inches of port area.

i am looking for something that can take 1000 - 1500 watts. and something that can be loud and sound somewhat good while doing it

HDC3 imo. It's deffinatly a bigger sub and I would'nt compare those two inparticular if it was me.

my goal is to be loud and not sound like total shit doing it. maybe compete with it a few times for the hell of it

the reason I'm stuck on an 18 is because its the biggest i could fit, and i wouldn't have enough cash to get two good 15's and i didn't want 2 12's because everybody has that

Id totally vote for the fi........ but the aq will handle so much more power.. your comparing a sub that can take thousands of watts and cheaply made, to a woofer in the same price range but one of the lowest model subs in fi's line up. Id totally start saving my pennies or whatever you have to do to get a BL or BTL
