123456852
I'm going to be running 2 Fi BL 12's with 2 Batcap 2000's and a DDm2a amp. Will an alternator upgrade be necessary? I believe my alt is 120amp? What can go wrong if I do not upgrade, what are the consequences.

chronic2001
Depends on how long your pounding for. Also if your running head lights, a/c, heated seats, and so on. Might be about to get away with a few batteries but I would get a alt to e safe. NorthsouthproductionsNC
Personally i always think its a good idea when your adding on to a cars electrical system to upgrade the alt the original design of the stock alternator was never intended on supporting additional electrical drains.
