They are 1000w max 400w Rms with 2 4ohm coils don't know if you can get a 2 ohm cool version they sound good in a sealed enclosure the factory one sounds clean a tight have yet hear one in a ported but they can't be too bad I like the premier subs at least, see what someone else will say, and Im not sure if you should push 1000w to 2 of them but they may take it only one way to find out I Am Never Wrong, Just Often Mistaken......

Define cheap. There is the Alpine which is a nice little amp. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
