Hadec
(2) Fi Bl 12" subwoofers: $751.76 shipped RMS: 1500 dual 2 (per sub) or (1) SMD 15"/18" subwoofer: $829.08 shipped RMS: 3500 dual 2 So if I went for the SMD I would eventually upgrade to (2) subwoofers. The amp I might use: http://www.crescendoaudio.com/product.php?productid=17515 (unless you guys can suggest a cheaper one) lol.. Thanks! Quote Working on my first car audio build ever! Ecco
Personally, I'd get the 15" SMD. One, it's good looking and I'm sure it performs well, and you gotta rep this place! haha :clapping:Unless I want bass soon, than I'd get the 2 Fi's. Hadec
better get another 3kw for the smd Would I be able to use a cheap hifonics amp like this for the SMD sub? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_32979_Hifonics-HFi3000D.html Just until I get more money for a better amp? I know I wont get the full 3500 rms from the amp. I guess I'll need a battery like the XS D2400 as well? Edited November 12, 2011 by Hadec Quote Working on my first car audio build ever! That1Kid
Gonna need moars watts for the SMD. Why buy one of the best woofers on the market, and cheap out on the amp? Save up and get the amp you want/need. Quote -98' Ford Expedition (Rest in Peace) -AVH-P3300BT -Crescendo BC5500 -4 18" DC m2 Level 3.

I might just have to go with the (2) Fi BL 12"s because I can just use that cheap hifonics amp with them. :/ I need to win a free SMD! lol Quote Working on my first car audio build ever! Azagtoth502
You will be lucky if that amp does half of advertised wattage. Stay away from the HiFi series. Which amp would you suggest for 3000w then? The crescendo? Edited November 12, 2011 by Hadec Quote Working on my first car audio build ever!
