Crysis Is Out! First Look

well its installing right now so i dont have a first look for you but as soon as i play for 1/2 hour ill let you guys know if it finally plays like it should. It better!!

looks BEAUTIFUL........still have to adjust shaders and shadows a little lower so it can play smooth. That SUCKS.......this game even comes with an advertisement with a big ol picture of an Alienware Area 51 (like mine) on the inside as if to say "you need this to play this game!".........yet i cant play with full graphics, YET. Im sure there will be a patch. I like the game but im dissapointed.......sucks when you have such an expensive "gaming" computer yet the 360 is calling my name when i feel like gaming because at least ill get good FPS out of that!

i dont understand why you cant play it on full graphics. oh well, it prolly looks amazing where its at right now.

i dont either. It looks better then the demo which tells me the SLI is probably working.....but im not sure, maybe its all in my head. When did you buy your alienware?

Shoot meade you should have let me build your computer for ya!!! Now when it comes to pimpin out computers from proformance and apperance I can take care of ya!!! I build computers for cheap just because computers are my life and i hate seeing people ripped off when they ask companies to fix or build them a desktop. Ya feel me?

no offense my young brotha but i probably have built more computers in my lifetime then you have ;) I could have built my own no problem. There is nothing you or i could have built that would perform any different since ultimately i would have picked the same exact parts LOL.

i said it about 20 times, this time i wanted to treat myself to a new PC and not have to deal with building it.....plug it in and go. I got a FAT ASS bonus at work right around the time i finished one of chickens projects so i had some dough.....i bought me a sick alienware. It was like last February BTW so its not even a year old. The 8800GTX is still supposed to be the shit (im aware of the ULTRA but the GTX should still hang, especially 2 in SLI)

damn that's nuts. 6 grand on a comp and that game is still that serious on graphics? at least that means the graphics will be up to date for quite some time. so it seems. cant wait to get my fingers on it

i played with the settings some and with everything on very high but the shadows (medium) and shaders (high).....it plays real good like that. I guess i wont complain too much....its still ultra sick like that i just dont like the word "medium".....especially, like i said, when the game comes with a picture and brochure of MY ALIENWARE inside the case LOL.

I got another game im about to get, i need to see if its out........Unreal 3. I got the demo and it runs TITS on everything pegged so i know i gotta good rig
